The IISc Mathematics Initiative (IMI),
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore will be organizing
a conference from July 18 - 21, 2005. The main theme of
the conference will be "Scientific Computation, Numerical
Analysis and Applications (with special reference to numerical
Simulation, Control, Noise Modeling and Optimization of
systems governed by Hyperbolic Partial Differential Equations
and Differential - Algebraic Equations)".
This conference will contain presentation
of research papers by specialists from many countries. Afternoon
of the last day will be a concluding session in which future
research directions will be discussed.
A maximum of 50 applicants from other Institutions
will be selected for participation in the conference.
Out of this, a maximum of 10 seats will be
reserved for scientists from organisations, which finance
the theme programme.
Students and faculty from IISc who desire
to participate in the theme programme will need to register.
