PROBABILITY: THEORY AND APPLICATIONS August 2012 - July 2013 (Organized by IISc Mathematics Initiative) As a part of its upcoming series of annual thematic programmes in mathematics, the IISc Mathematics Initiative (IMI) announces the Thematic Year in "PROBABILITY: THEORY AND APPLICATIONS "		The Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences is administered by the IISc Mathematics Initiative (IMI). This programme provides an unique opportunity for students to work in areas spanning mathematics, biology, physics and engineering. Students can work in any of the interdisciplinary research areas mentioned below.
